Spent a nice day on the water in search of the T46 pod that was in San Juan Channel but between the three boats, we were not successful. We did, however, see some beautiful marine life on our tour.
We headed south and saw several sea birds on our route including BALD EAGES (including a pair of juveniles), BLACK TURNSTONES, BLACK OYSTERCATCHERS, and more. Then we viewed the noisy STELLAR SEA LIONS and HARBOR SEALS.
I snapped a pic of the landing craft “Pintail.” I shared it and it was used in the Matthew McConaughley Lincoln Navigator commercials. It was pretty chilly, but it was a beautiful day on the water.
“The Sea, once it casts its spell, holds one in its net of wonder forever.”
