This day presented Divot, the HUMPBACK, then Ks and Ls. It started off searching for a HUMPBACK WHALE in Haro Strait. When located we made our way to it and spend most of the rest of the tour watching it do many fluke dives.
On the way, we had seen HARBOR PORPOISE, a beautiful pair of BALD EAGLES and some MOULON SHEEP.
The second tour was more of the same and we watched Divot until she crossed over into Canada. Then we were on our way to see seals and eagles on our way back to Friday Harbor.
However, as the day was almost over, we were blessed to see the K & L pods making their way down into US waters. They gave us some great breaches, spy hops, tail lobbing and some nice vocals on the Hydrophone.
There could not have been a better way to end the day.
