Whale Tales – Horned Puffins and More

By Captain Ken Rea

Tufted Puffin

What a wonderful day on the water and we saw a rare Horned Puffin on birding tour today. The water was nice, the sun was nice, and we saw many beautiful birds. We started off with Puffins and seeing the Horned Puffin was a highlight of the day.

Tufted Puffin and Rhinoceros Auklet

We also saw Pigeon Guillemot, Rhinoceros Auklet, Black Oystercatchers, Canada Geese, three different species of Cormorant, Harlequin Ducks and more.
