July Inn-formation You Need to Know from Wolf Creek Inn
134 is a number you don’t hear too often. At Wolf Creek Inn this year, however, it’s our favorite number because that’s how old we are! For 134 years, guests have been bustling in and out of the Inn; on their way to a mining claim, a road trip to California in the family Ford Model T, or maybe back to a ranch off in the mountains somewhere. In some way, they’ve all left their mark on the Inn. Just looking at the worn floorboards, you’ll see the tread patterns of cork boots from loggers past and spur marks from long-forgotten trail riders. Your soles are invited to the Inn, too! There are lots of fun, free ways to explore the Inn throughout the summer. We have free guided 45 minute tours each day at 11AM and a program for kids, adults, or families every Saturday at 2PM. There’s also a fantastic line-up of free music the last Friday of every month from 7-9PM in our Finale Friday series. Reserve your spot in these classes and events on our website at www.oregonstateparks.org.
Staying overnight in the oldest continually operating Inn in the Pacific Northwest is a great way to experience the past as well! We have eight beautifully appointed rooms, each with a private bathroom. Antique furnishings, decorative lamps, and cheerful fabrics adorn each room. There are six queen/full rooms and two rooms that have two twin beds each. The price for an overnight stay is $80, which includes evening snacks, morning juice and coffee, and a full, hot breakfast at neighboring Ricki’s Place Restaurant. Reservations can be made by calling 1-800-452-5687 or online at www.oregonstateparks.org.
